PROJECT 3
In Project 3, I will be re-examine your 1:1 structure and develop it into a series of Sensorial Spaces with a total volumetric boundaries of 20m³ (±3m³) anticipating user’s journey, experience and emotion. In developing my final project, I need to consider the following questions: ï‚· How does design principles guide the experience and appreciation of space? ï‚· How does structure and materiality influence the sensorial experiences in a space?

The final project will be explored in three (3) stages:
1. I shall re-explore and re-examine the activity and specific action from your 1:1 structure from project 2 and develop a spatial narrative,
2. I shall translate the spatial narrative into an architectural journey with a sequence of 2 to 3 spaces and,
3. I will Develop the sensorial experience of your spaces, guided by design principles, structure, materiality, anthropometry, ergonomics and architectural narrative via multiple test models and drawings.
: Reflection :
The idea of MATRIX surround celebrating after a series of hardship. As the contrast between the darkness (sadness/failure) & light (succeed) provides great chemistry of emotion which leads to the action of celebration. Narrative was generated by my understanding of celebration through hardship. The spaces design was later built on the support of narrative.

In this project, details such as the play of shadow casting exits illusion was cooperate into the design of the facade itself . Symmetry from project 1 was also used to create a proportional structural.
This Final project is the combination hard work of my semester 1 journey itself.
Overall the experience was also hectic as the model itself required much time as I was not allowed to laser cut. 96 hours was used to create the facade ( hand cut ) and 48 additional hours was also spent to complete the other parts of the model.
Although it took me blood & sweat to finish it , the outcome was worth it . The final project is truly the masterpiece of ending note for my semester 1.
